25 Days of Giving is here - this is how you can help

For the fifth year in a row NBC25 News and Catholic Charities of Shiawasee and Genesee Counties are teaming up to help those in need.

All through the month of December you can donate non-perishable food items, as well as winter coats, hats, gloves, and mittens.

Starting December 1, you can drop these items off at the following locations:

All Dort Federal Credit Unions, Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am until 12:30 pm.

Their locations are:

2845 Davison Road in Flint

1091 W. Hill Road, in Mundy Township

1441 S. State Road in Davison

5091 W. Pierson Road, Flushing

9050 Holly Road, Grand Blanc Township

14265 Fenton Road, Fenton

1742 DeMille Road, Lapeer

You can also donate at the NBC25 News Offices Monday through Friday from 9 am until 5 pm at 2225 Willard Road, in Clio.

Different Catholic Charities locations are also accepting donations.

Catholic Charities Center for Hope Comunity Closet, Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4 pm. They are located at 517 E. Fifth Avenue, Flint.

Catholic Charities North End Soup Kitchen, Monday through Friday from 9 am until 5 pm. They are located at 735 E. Stewart Ave., Flint

Catholic Charities Owosso Community Closet and Food Pantry, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am until 8 pm and Friday from 8 am until 4 pm. This location is at 120 W. Exchange Street, Ste. 300, Owosso.

McDunnough, Inc is accepting donations. They are open from 7 am until 7 pm, Monday through Friday and are located at 340 N Fenway Dr, Fenton

Guardian Mortgage is also now accepting donations. They are located at 8283 Office Park Dr, Grand Blanc.

Powerhouse Gym of Owosso is accepting donation. They are open 24 hours per day 7 days per week. You can locate them at 1231 W Main St, Owosso.
