Over the past few weeks, NBC 25 has been asking viewers to nominate someone who they think is making our community a better place to live, work or play.

We are proud and honored to introduce our very first NBC25 â??Pay It Forwardâ?? honoree.

Angela Roth was nominated by her Friends Paula Hadden for dedicating her life to helping animals.

â??I nominated Angela because Iâ??m with an animal group and sheâ??s always doing fundraisers. Sheâ??s dedicated her life to helping the animals,â?? Hadden said.

Angela Roth of Flint has taken her lifelong love of animals to a new level. Since 2007, she has devoted endless energy and countless hours to supporting organizations like the Genesee County Humane Society.

Roth says, â??I have a big passion for cats. We have a room in our house where we do fostering. Itâ??s designed just for the cats.â??

A passion and dedication that has not gone unnoticed by others in the community, especially among other animal advocates.

Terry Wisner, Animal Advocate said â??Angela is always there for the animals and always there to help people that are helping animals.â??

Roth is the very first NBC 25 Independent Bank â??Pay it Forwardâ?? honoree with a reward of $500.
