      12-year-old shot in face in Flint

      The boy's mother said that multiple shots were fired.

      A 12-year-old boy was shot in the face, authorities say, in Flint.

      It happened at about 1:15 this morning on the city's east side on the 2900 block of Lewis Street near Leith Street.

      A woman called 911 saying her home had been shot at multiple times.

      We know at least one person was shot, her 12-year-old-son. He was grazed in the face with a bullet.

      He was taken to Hurley Hospital and listed in very good condition.

      Police are still looking for suspects at this time.
