      14-year-old shot in Flint

      <p>Yesterday evening the Michigan State Police and the Flint Police Department responded to a reported shooting of a 14-year-old.</p>

      Yesterday evening the Michigan State Police and the Flint Police Department responded to a reported shooting of a 14-year-old.

      At around 7 pm police went to the 1400 block of Arizona Avenue, near Lewis Street, where a 14-year-old had been shot.

      Police say witnesses in the area pointed police to where the suspect in the shooting was located.

      The Michigan State Police and the Flint police got a warrant and searched the residence where witnesses say the suspect ran to.

      Police found three guns and ammunition. The suspect surrendered and has been arrested.

      The 14-year-old is reported to be in good condition at a local hospital.
