2 cops accused of robbery at Detroit gas station

Two Detroit-area police officers are accused of using their weapons to rob two men at a gas station.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig says one officer is a Detroit sergeant with 20 years on the force, while the other is a St. Clair Shores sergeant. Prosecutors haven't authorized charges yet.

Craig says the officers took money and a phone from two people at a Detroit gas station on July 21st. One victim was struck with a gun.

Craig says someone took pictures and alerted police. He says "99.9 percent" of Detroit officers are hard-working and honest.

Defense attorney Todd Flood tells TV station WDIV there's more to the story.
