2 Gladwin women arrested for manufacturing meth
CLEMENT TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Gladwin County Sheriff's Office report they have arrested two women for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Sheriff's say 30-year-old Victoria Williams of Gladwin Woman and 35-year-old Shannon Bergman of Gladwin Woman, both were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 21 at a residence in Gladwin County's Clement Township.
Sheriff's say the arrests were a result of an investigation that began on Sunday, Sept. 17. Deputies from the Gladwin County Sheriff's Office were investigating a tip in regards to meth manufacturing. Sheriff's say the Deputies made contact at the residence in Clement Township and discovered the two women were in the process of making meth, and an active "one pot" lab was located. Deputies also found multiple components used for the manufacturing of meth according to the Gladwin County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's say they have secured the scene and a safety assessment was conducted. The Sheriff's office also contacted the MSP BAYANET unit, and a meth cleanup crew was sent.
Sheriff's say both women were arraigned in 80th District Court on Friday and both had a cash bond set in the amount of $20,000.
