20-year-old Chesaning man killed in early morning crash

A Chesaning man has died after an early morning single-vehicle crash in Albee Township.

According to the Saginaw County Sheriff's Department, 20-year-old Tyler Meiser, of Chesaning, was killed when the vehicle he was riding in flipped over.

Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene at Gasper Rd. north of Fergus Rd. just before 2 a.m. Monday.

Police say the car, a 1998 Monte Carlo, was north bound on Gasper Road when it left the roadway north of Fergus Road and rolled over.

Medical personnel from Twin Township pronounced Meiser dead at the scene. The Saginaw County Sheriff's Department says speed and alcohol appear to be a factor in the accident.
