Michigan State Police have reportedly arrested a 19-year-old man after 20-year-old Andrea Eilber's body was found inside a relative's home.
The MSP report Eilber's parents called the Lapeer post around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, to report that their daughter had been missing from her home near Otisville.
Eilber had been house-sitting that night at a relative TMs home on Kings Mill Road in Mayfield Township. Her family became worried when they hadn TMt heard from her.
Police went to the home, but couldn TMt find Eilber.
Then, around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, a call came into the Lapeer County 911 Center for a report that the missing woman TMs car was located at a parking lot at the Lapeer State Game Area on Five Lakes Road, which is not far from where the woman was house-sitting.
Using a K-9 tracking dog and MSP Aviation support, teams began combing the area.
About two hours later, troopers went into the Kings Mill Road residents, where they found the woman TMs body.
Police have not released the 19-year-old suspect's name, but say he is Eilber's boyfriend. He is expected to be arraigned Friday.
