3 held after vests, stun gun taken from uncover police car

Authorities in the Flint area say three people are in custody after protective vests and a stun gun were stolen from an unmarked police car.

The police-issued vests and stun gun are back in police hands. Police say two other people also could face charges.

The thefts took place last Wednesday in Genesee County's Flint Township. Police say suspects were spotted on a security camera driving away.

Authorities haven't said what department the bullet-resistant vests and stun gun were from. Police say they also have recovered stolen property from other thefts.
