50's dining coming to Flint Township

You will soon be able to rock around the clock in a new, 1950s-style diner in Flint Township as part of new additions.

The motorcycle dealer on Austins Parkway accepted the diner on its property today.

It's being lifted onto a basement that's almost finished.

The diner will serve up to 60 customers at a time.

"It's always been our goal to create a destination for people to come. Make this our premiere Harley Davidson dealership, now we have motorsports, we are adding a demo track and we just want to make it a fun place that people would come from afar," said general manager, Karri McLean.

The diner occupies a piece of property that was once a gas station and then a small auto dealership near the Miller Road northbound entrance to I-75.
