A decent weekend for Fall color

Fall color is at or near peak across much of Michigan's lower peninsula. Some areas near the lakeshore still have a week or more to go until peak color is reached.

Although a few showers are possible Saturday afternoon and very early Sunday morning and the weather will be on the cool side of average, it looks like a decent weekend to view the Fall foliage.

A cold front will bring a few showers to areas north of Bay City tomorrow afternoon and evening, but most of the NBC25 viewing area will stay dry.

Temperatures will be cooler in the wake of this front over the weekend with a few spotty showers possible Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning.

However, most of Sunday looks dry and seasonably cool.
