A little rain, a little snow, and plenty of cold coming

Tomorrow and Friday we'll be in the 40s for highs. These are the warmest two days in the 7-day forecast!

An upper-level trough of low pressure sliding through northern Michigan early Thursday morning will spawn a few showers, but higher rain chances await on Thursday night and Friday as a cold front pushes into the area.

The rain showers will briefly change to snow before ending late Friday afternoon, with little or no accumulation expected.

Snow showers will re-develop, however, as colder air crosses the Great Lakes on Saturday.
