Drivers fueled up for the lowest average in 3 years in 2013, according to AAA.
The group says prices are expected to dip even lower in 2014, as cars become more fuel efficient, and refineries continue to expand production.
Nationally, AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.49 last year. In Michigan, the average was 10 cents lower, at $3.39 per gallon.
Drivers in Montana paid the lowest average price, at $3.01. Hawaiians paid the most, at $3.94 per gallon.
