Alumni celebrate football rivalry at Atwood Stadium
Sun, 01 Dec 2013 00:05:17 GMT —
Atwood Stadium is bringing former Flint rivals together for fun on the gridiron.
Flint Central and Northern High School alumni are battling for bragging rights with their annual flag football game.
The graduates are trying to remind the city that they can all come together.
The Turkey Game once attracted thousands of spectators.
Organizers of this second-annual event are trying to bring crowds back for the alumni game.
Flint Southwestern and Northwestern graduates also participated Saturday.
"This is something the Turkey Game is something the whole city got around back in the day and that's what we are trying to bring back. Something the whole city can get around that we can bring on and take ownership of because its something we created. Let's bring it back," said Eleazar Barzar, Flint Northern alumni.
