It's been a little on the cool side this August with temperatures running 1.8° below average in Flint and 2.2° below average in Saginaw.
The cool weather will continue this week as a cold front moving through tonight will bring our temperatues back down into the 60s and 70s for highs, and 40s and 50s for lows.
This front will also bring some thunderstorms to the area tonight, some of which could produce 40mph wind gusts, small hail, and locally heavy rain.
Behind this front, we'll still have some lingering, spotty showers on Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday through the weekend, however, looks like a rain-free period.
