Athletes: stop sports injuries before they happen
According to the Boston Globe, three out of four American families have at least one child playing an organized sport.
That breaks down to 45 million kids and they're all at risk for an injury.
To help prevent that from happening to your athlete, Hurley Medical Center is holding an event called Concussion & Sports Injuries.
Hurley physical therapist Joshua Carlson says speakers will discuss concussions, sports injuries affecting teens today and physical therapy options for sports injuries.
Concussions & Sports Injuries is Monday, July 10th at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc from 6-8 p.m.
