Attorney General announced charges against woman accused of stealing from kids charity
LANSING - State Attorney General Bill Schuette has announced charges against a Flushing woman accused of stealing from a Flint kids' charity.
Fifty-three-year-old Dian Stephens has been charged with obstruction of justice in addition to six felony embezzlement charges.
Stephens allegedly misused nearly $20,000 in charitable gaming funds intended for her charity Community Kids Martial Arts Science.
Stephens will be in court Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the 67th District Court in Flint before Judge William Crawford.
