According to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Interstate 75 southbound is closed south of Pinconning Road.
There is a one vehicle accident involving a semi-truck that has lead to the closure.
The Bay County Road Commission is also urging travelers to stay off of the roads. They said that travel on US-10 and I-75 are both particularly hazardous due to whiteout conditions.
Bay County 911 says that southbound traffic can exit in Pinconning before the jackknifed semi and take M-13 southbound, if you do need to travel.
