Storms that developed ahead of a warm front on Tuesday afternoon are now in the process of weakening.
Although the Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk of severe weather forecast for areas just to our south, even here the chance of that appears to be waning.
A cold front coming through on Wednesday morning may ignite another round of showers and storms for us, but these storms are not expected to be severe.
Behind this front, a drying west/northwesterly breeze will bring less-humid and cooler air to the region.
Highs will still reach the lower to middle 80s on Wednesday afternoon, but readings will drop below 60 in most locations by early Thursday morning.
