Breakfast: Eat like a king


We've all heard the famous saying, "breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Dr. Kehres, a wellness physician and owner of Kehres Health & Chiropractic in Saginaw. He has a challenge in his office this week called "eat breakfast like a king."



Dr. Kehres stresses the importance of eating healthy and it doesn't have to be time consuming or difficult.


Kehres taught NBC35 viewers Thursday morning how to make a healthy shake to kick start your day. It'a a great idea to make for your kids as they are heading off to school as well.





Chocolate Banana Protein Shake




Recipe:





  • 1 tablespoon almond butter





  • 1 banana





    1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder






    1 cup ice





    3/4 cup water, almond milk or coconut milk
