The final pieces of Flint's large-scale art project came crashing down Saturday.
Volunteers gathered in the flat lot along Saginaw Street to take down the Floating House.
The piece of art was part of an international contest organized by the Flint Public Art Project to bring temporary art to downtown Flint.
Organizers tell us most of the materials will be reused and donated to Habitat for Humanity and other area organizations.
They hope to hold a similar contest next year.
