A man driving a Ford Explorer crashes through a Flint Township business was all caught on security video.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday, May 16 in the 4000 block of Corunna Road.

The business is called "My Device Doctors," owned by Joshua Elder.

He tells FOX66/NBC25 police don't know right now if this was a break-in attempt or if the driver had been drinking.

Elder was at home when he got the call about the crash into his business.

Elder said, “As far as damage is without going through everything it could be upwards of thirty to fifty thousand dollars. We lost a lot of company inventory we lost a lot of devices and a lot of our repair tools that are very expensive and very hard to find."

Flint Township police say the driver is in custody. He turned himself in and is speaking with detectives, according to police.

Elder believes the damage caused by this incident is in excess of $10,000.

If you recognize the driver or have any information that might help investigators find him call Detective Weber with the Flint Township Police Department at 810-600-3250 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL.
