FLINT, Mich. --The Flint Township board will discuss whether it wants to buy the vacant Pirate's Park Complex on Miller Road.

A public hearing will be held to consider a plan to apply for a state grant.

The 38-acre complex closed about three years ago.

It includes a recreation building, a spring-fed lake, and a water slide.

The current application is to make it part of a downtown development authority plan that could help with financing.
