Charges filed for April 15th homicide of Angelica Olivarez

Police across Michigan are searching for murder suspect Michael Lawrence. Today, official charges came through the Saginaw prosecutorâ??s office for the April 15th death of Angelica Olivarez.

Saginaw County Chief District Judge Randall Jurrens signed the warrant charging Lawrence with open murder or felony murder, child abandonment and unlawful driving away in Olivarezâ??s 2002 dodge neon found in Lansing.

The child abandonment charges are from Lawrenceâ??s 3 year old son, who was left alone until he told a neighbor that his mother was dead. Since then Lawrence has been on the run. From Saginaw to Lansing.

He was spotted in Lansing along with Olivarezâ??s car last week; however, Olivarezâ??s aunt says she has new reports saying Lawrence has been spotted in Saginaw since then.

Lawrence is already charged for the august homicide of 6-year-old lay'la Jones. Police say Lawrence is on the run and should be considered armed and dangerous.
