Chesaning Showboat Music Festival cancels headlining acts


There are still more questions than answers after organizers cancelled the Chesaning Showboat Music Festival a day before opening night. All headlining acts and concerts were cancelled. Festival committee chairman, Scott Hewitt, could not say why the festival was cancelled, or whether ticket refunds would be available.

All main music acts have been cancelled for the Chesaning Showboat Music Festival according to the Chesaning Chamber of Commerce.

This includes The Charlie Daniels Band, Quiet Riot, Theory of a Deadman, and KC and the Sunshine Band. Additionally the jazz and blues festival planned for Saturday has been cancelled.

The Children's Night tonight is still scheduled for tonight.

Instructions for ticket holders have not been released yet.
