Chrysler recall: thousands of Jeeps affected

A recall by Chrysler is affecting nearly 470,000 Jeep SUV's after a problem that has caused 26 accidents.

The recall affects 2005 to 2010 Grand Cherokees and 2006 to 2010 Commanders.

A total of 469,000 vehicles is affected.

The recall covers 295,000 vehicles in the U.S.

Officials say the vehicles can shift into neutral without warning-and roll away when the vehicle is started.

Repairs will be made at no cost to owners.
