Tonight is the best night for stargazing this week hands down.
Clear skies, light breeze, mild temps, a super moon and a meteor shower all rolled in to one.
I get a few questions what a super moon is and while there are some more in depth answers the very simple explanation is the moon is in its full phase but also at the point in its orbit where it is closest to Earth.
Now add the Perseids Meteor Shower beginning overnight tonight and we have one beautiful night.
Showers return to start the week with storms scattered in the heavy rain.
We'll focus the water on Monday night through Tuesday.
Beyond that point the cold front cools us down for a day or two then we rebound with tons of sun.
