Some folks who opted to stay indoors Saturday evening enjoyed a dinner and a cabaret-style show.
The Clio Cast & Crew presented its first-ever dinner and show dubbed "Broadway L!ve" at the Clio Area Senior Center. Audience members got to enjoy a full buffet dinner and watch numbers from Broadway musicals such as "Annieâ??, "Hairspray" and "Wicked" right in front of them.
â??There's a new generation of theatre coming up, a lot of high school kids, graduating seniors that are going into college that want to take on theatre, so this is the best kind of experience, community theatre, to get your feet wet and get a resume,â?? said director Ashleigh Tillman.
Tillman said the dinner and a show is also a great experience for the audience who can see the performances up close.
