Verizon Wireless LG G2 has all the same features of its more expensive rivals. When looking at the phone it has buttons on the bottom of the device that are used for Menu (Apps), Home, Back, and Search. This phone is great for someone who is looking to dive into the world of Droid. It is not 100% stock Droid OS like Motorola is; LG has included its own spin on the OS that helps make it more user friendly, and this includes a â??starter modeâ?? that is available to help ease in a newbie!
The clarity of the phone is good. It also has a strategically placed power and volume rocker button on the back of the device right below the camera.
The Verizon Wireless LG G2 is powered by a 2.26GHz Quad Core processor. It does have 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage but the actual formatted capacity is less. The LG G2 can take up to a 64 microSD card for extra storage.
Thereâ??s a power/sleep button is on the upper center of the back of the phone right below the camera with the volume rocker on either side of the power/sleep button. On the left side at the bottom is the 3.5mm headphone jack. In the center of the bottom is the plug and on the right side of the bottom is the microphone.
The Verizon Wireless LG Enact screen is a 5.2 â??inch HD IPS display, 1920 x 1080, wrapped in Gorilla Glass. The device also features a Zerogap Touch display which limits the space under the surface of the display thus making the response time of the phone faster.
The camera is a 13 megapixel full HD on the rear of the devise that includes a LED flash, image stabilization and autofocus. The camera 1080p recording capabilities and a 2.0 megapixel front-facing camera it makes it simple to take pictures as well as video chat with your friends. The camera is wrapped in sapphire crystal glass this protects the camera from scratches or other blemishes that could impede the quality of shots.
It took nice pictures in natural light. It also has some great camera features that the more expensive devices offer.
Say Cheese: this feature lets you capture a picture by saying cheese and not actually touching any buttons.
Time Catch Shot: this allows the camera to take several pictures before the shutter button is pressed.
Shot Modes: Normal, Panorama, Low Light, Portrait, etc.
Most smart-phone users have concluded by now that no matter the phone in use it will have to charge every day. The LG G2 features a 3000 mAh battery which gives the device lots of usage time.
Android 4.2.2, which is running the latest version the Jellybean is running on the Verizon Wireless LG G2, which also runs five home screens. It can run over 150,000 apps that are available on the Android market.
The phone never slowed and scrolling between pages or up and down long lists happened without hesitation. The user interface is wickedly fast and was responsive.
Verizon Wireless LG G2 is global ready for the busy person always on the move.
There is a pinch-zoom feature for web pages it allows for zooming in and out as much as needed. There is a nice screen shot of bookmarked pages, and they can all be viewed in landscape or vertical configurations. That makes it easy to jump to the favorite pages easily.
The old adage comes to mind, with the Verizon Wireless LG G2, â??you get what you pay for.â?? However in this instance, that is not the case. The price is just a bonus with the phone; it makes the crossover to the Droid world so much easier and more affordable to someone who may otherwise not be able to get a droid. The â??starter modeâ?? makes it very user friendly and itâ??s is 4G LTE to boot! With the holidays coming this would be a great gift for Moms or Dads who are feeling brave or even that pesky Kid who keeps begging for a Droid!
