Thousands of law enforcement officers are in Washington D.C this weekend remembering those who died in the line of duty.

The owners of the famous Doughnut store Cops & Doughnuts are in Washington.

The co-owners are not selling doughnuts but instead selling shirts, hats and other items and also remembering those who have lost their life.

"its a solemn occasion for us to come out here, it is, especially after losing a Michigan officer for us this week, it's another solemn moment to think back that men in brown and blue and other uniforms that we wear are out there protecting us every day ,doesn't matter what day of the week, what time of the year, they are at all risk at all times, said co-owners John Pedjac and Greg Kohlhoff.
