Defense believes Genesee Co. residents died of preexisting conditions, not Legionnaires

FLINT, Mich. --Hearings against Michigan Health And Human Services Director Nick Lyon continued with the defense questioning of Legionnaires Disease is responsible for the deaths of two Genesee County residents.

Doctor Joel Kahn, an expert in pulmonary issues, took the stand Wednesday.

Defense attorneys believe that preexisting medical conditions caused John Snyder and Robert Skidmore's deaths in 2015.

The court closed before cross examination could finish.

Lyon will be back in court on February 16th.
