Dixie Motor Speedway has cancelled its races for the remainder of the season.
Officials at the track tell NBC25 there was an incident involving a little girl in the grandstand.
Originally, track officials had just cancelled races for this week and the upcoming weekend. However, they have now decided to cancel the entire season.
The racetrack is working with Auto City Speedway to ensure that some major races planned for this year can be relocated there. Namely the Draper 125 and the Auto Value Super Sprint Series are expected to be relocated.
There is a press conference scheduled for today at 2:30 pm at the Dixie Motor Speedway.
Stay with NBC25 online and on the air at 6 and 11 for more information.
