Rain and thunderstorms moving along a warm front could cause flash flooding overnight.
That's why a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Genesee, Shiawassee, and Lapeer counties until 8am Thursday.
Once this watch expires, we're expecting drier air to move into the area on Thursday behind a cold front.
This front will also bring cooler, breezier weather in its wake.
Highs will only be between 70 and 75 Thursday afternoon with a north wind at 10-20mph and higher gusts.
