Duck hunters rescued from Saginaw Bay

The Coast Guard says 4 men were rescued from the Saginaw Bay this morning, after their canoe capsized.

Petty Officer Kristin Pittman says the men were duck hunting when their small boat went down near what's called the "hot ponds", between Channel Island and the Consumers Energy plant.

All 4 were called "mildly hypothermic" and were said to be obviously happy when recsue crews arrived. They were pulled from the water around 7:30 this morning, in Bay County.

At last report, the men were with emergency responders inside the Coast Guard station in Essexville, being treated for their injuries. All are expected to survive. No identities were released.
