Events for Cesar Chavez Celebration

He's adored and cherished within the Hispanic community. In part because of his labor leadership.

Cesar Chavez was an American farm worker, labor leader and civil rights activist, who co-founded the National Farm Workers Association.

This weekend many groups will celebrate Chavez' birthday which is Monday, March 31st.

A Cesar Chavez film will take place at 6:40PM on Saturday, March 29th

The movie theater is located at 3250 Kabobel in Saginaw.

Directed by Diego Luna and starring Michael Peña.

The film tells the story of the civil rights leader and labor organizer, who is torn between his family responsibilities and his commitment to securing a living wage for farm workers.
