The court hearings have begun for the teen accused of stabbing missing Traverse City Teen, Carly Lewis, to death.
NBC25 TMs sister station, 7&4 News, reports the preliminary hearings against Robert Jensen Schwander, 17, have begun in the Traverse City courts.
A forensic pathologist testified that Lewis was stabbed ten times, and the nearly 5-inch deep slash to the neck is what killed her.
Lewis had been missing for several weeks before her body was discovered at a Public Works Building on June 14th.
Schwander, the son of a sheriff TMs deputy, admitted to killing Lewis, but claimed it was an accident. However, he later pleaded not guilty in court.
