Fall Harvest Fair gives community safe Halloween alternative

Kids dress up for the 7th annual Harvest Fest at Bethel United Methodist Church Thursday.

Families made their way to the Bethel United Methodist Church in Flint for a Harvest Fest Thursday night.

It's the 7th year Councilman Sheldon Neeley has helped organize the event.

They provide games, candy, crafts and a costume contest for kids.

Councilman Neeley says it provides a safe, family-friendly environment for kids to get candy, play games and learn on Halloween.

Each year the festival is held at a different location.
