      Fatal accident investigation delayed

      Michigan State Police's investigation is on hold, until they can interview the sole survivor of head-on collision.

      Two people are dead after a head-on collision yesterday around 5:10 p.m. in Genesee County.

      It happened between Peet Road and East Road.

      According to Michigan State Police it happened after 61-year-old Edith Brown's Chevy Colorado crossed the center hitting a Pontiac G-6 head on.

      The driver of the Pontiac, 68-year -old Milton Townsend died instantly.

      Brown is in critical condition and her 8-year-old grand daughter died.

      Speed and alcohol aren't factors in the crash.

      Townsend wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

      Police are investigating.
