Fire damages two Flint homes
FLINT, Mich. - Fire damaged two homes and a vehicle in Flint Tuesday night.
It happened at 8:35 p.m. on Hosler Street near Lapeer Road on the city’s south side.
According to fire officials, the fire started at one home and spread to a neighboring home, damaging both.
The fire also spread to a vehicle parked in the driveway.
Fire crews were alerted to the fire by someone coming to check the mail of the first home while the residents were away.
Those people noticed smoke and called 911.
The fire was brought under control within an hour, but fire crews were staying around to check for hot spots.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are unknown at this time.
