First big snow of Winter 2013-14

Snow totals tomorrow will be heaviest in our southern counties. South of I-69 and in the eastern Thumb, isolated 6" totals will be possible.

The area of low pressure that we've been talking about looks like it will trek a little further north than we were thinking yesterday.

Therefore heavier snowfall is likely, especially in our southern counties.

Along with the snow, east to northeast winds gusting as high as 25 or even 30 mph will create some blowing and drifting snow.

The snow will taper-off Saturday evening, giving us a more tranquil day on Sunday to dig-out from the snow.
