      Fish Tacos

      Marinade is only four ingredients / Mark Torregrossa

      When my wife and I went to Hawaii, we kept seeing signs for fish tacos. Fish tacos? That did not even sound good to me. In a momentary lapse of reason I tried one. My thinking was I like tacos, and I like fish " so why wouldn TMt I like fish tacos. We had some at the South Shore Grill in Honolulu, just off Waikiki Beach. They were awesome, and I TMve been addicted ever since. I still can TMt make them like in Hawaii, but he TMs my recipe for fish tacos.


      2 lbs. flaky fish like mahi mahi or cod

      1/4 cup olive oil

      1 tablespoon chili powder

      Juice of two limes

      1/4 cup of finely chopped fresh cilantro

      Flour tortillas

      Sweet cole slaw

      Shredded cheese

      Make the marinade by combining olive oil, chili powder, lime juice, and cilantro.

      Put fish in the smallest container possible and pour marinade over fish.

      Marinade the fish for 30 minutes.

      Grill or pan fry the fish fillets. They are done when they flake apart easily.

      Grill the tortillas to get just a little browning.

      Flake the fish into chunks and put on tortilla.

      Top with sweet cole slaw and shredded cheese. Yes cole slaw.
