Flint City Council scheduled to talk water pipeline today

Flint City Council members will take up the proposed water pipeline deal today.

The finance committee met Wednesday night to discuss several issues, including the question of just how many gallons to buy should Flint join the Karegnondi Water Authority.

The deal would build a new water pipeline to Lake Huron instead of buying water from Detroit.

Council President Scott Kincaid says the council wants to study the deal thoroughly before entering a 25-year contract.
