FLINT, Mich. - Firefighters in Flint are showing support for breast cancer survivors.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Flint firefighters are wearing pink this week to show support for survivors and those battling breast cancer.

This morning firefighters also provided coffee and donuts at Fire Station One to show support for those impacted by breast cancer.

"Someway, somehow, it's affected us personally like one of our relatives, like myself, i lost my mother to breast cancer, so that was the honor for this t-shirt, but it's also to show the public that it is a tough battle, but we're standing behind them and we're standing behind anyone who's battling cancer," said firefighter Frank McLain.

This marks the second year for the event.
