Flint issues snow advisory as plows clear area roads

Flint issues a snow advisory and asks people to remove cars from streets to help plow crews with their snow clearing efforts.

The City of Flint has issued a snow advisory.

The city could see more than a foot of snow from Sunday's winter storm, according to NBC 25 Storm Ready Meteorologist Ahmad Bajjey.

Flint road crews are expected to be clearing streets for the next 24 hours.

According to city officials, plows will focus on major streets and routes to hospitals first. They will then shift their efforts to clearing residential streets.

Under the snow advisory, residents are to move vehicles off city streets to allow plow trucks better passage.
