Flint liquor store robbed at gunpoint

Flint police are investigating an armed robbery in the city's college cultural neighborhood.

Authorities responded to Golden Spot Liquor just after six this evening for the report of a robbery.

Witnesses at the store tell us a man with a gun entered the store, demanded the cashier give him cash and then left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

"He had a mask on his face and he pulled out a gun and said get on the floor so I got on the floor" says Javion Glenn.

"It's weird because this is a really nice neighborhood and I'm not used to things like this happening" he says.

Police tell NBC25 the suspect is a black male between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10 inches tall, about 200 pounds, dressed in all black clothing.

He is also believed to be driving a boxy dark colored car.
