Flint native, NFL standout teaches football, life lessons

Flint-native, Chris Wilson, hosted his third-annual CSW Faith Foundation High School Combine Saturday at Atwood Stadium in Flint.

Dozens of high-school kids showed up for the event.

Wilson, a NFL free agent, said he wants to create opportunities for Flint's youth.

"We teach them to get past some of the things that might be holding them back as far as, you know, dangerous things in the city and different types of adversity that they may go through. The same things that I went through growing up in Flint, Michigan," said Wilson.

Also attending the camp was Arizona Cardinals linebacker, Lorenzo Alexander.

The event was free for students.
