Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton says a 13-year-old girl will be charged with assault with intent to murder in connection with the stabbing of her 16-year-old sister. The suspect will face the accusations as a juvenile in Family Court.
Flint police say 2 teenage sisters got into a heated argument yesterday that ended with one of them fighting for her life. Police were called to a home at 1710 West Genesee Street over 2 sisters fighting. When they arrived they found 16 year old Kiamoriah Washington had been stabbed in the back. She was rushed to Hurley Medical Center where, at last report, she's in critical condition.
Police are questioning her 13 year old sister in connection with the crime. Because of her age, she may not face formal charges. That's being decided by the Genesee County Prosecutors office.
They were unavaiable to comment for this report.
