Flint Township police investigate I-75 crash that left driver seriously injured

Flint Township police are investigating an accident that left one person seriously injured and closed part of an expressway Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened on northbound I-75 north of Miller Road in Flint Township around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a loaded car hauler semi truck crashed into a parked pickup truck on the shoulder of the road. The driver of the pickup truck, a Linden resident, was seriously injured. The semi driver was not hurt.

The right lane of northbound I-75 remained closed for several hours crews worked to remove the semi truck.
