      Flint Township police investigating shooting near Bishop Airport

      Torrey Road north of West Bristol Road has been shut down.

      *** UPDATE ***

      A call went out at about 10:20 this morning about a shooting near Flint Bishop International Airport.

      Police say multiple shots were fired into a home on the 3400 block of Torrey Road. A man in his 60's had been shot one time. Authorities say he is in stable condition at this time.

      Two suspects, wearing black, fled the scene on foot. Police are searching for the suspects by talking to people at nearby businesses and checking surveillance video. K-9 units are also assisting.

      Police are also investigating a burglary that is related to the shooting.

      Lieutenant Tim Jones of the Flint Township Police Department tells NBC25 that they have recovered a piece of evidence, though they are not releasing what the evidence is at this time.

      The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

      The Genesee County Sheriff's Office and the Flint Bishop International Airport police are also assisting on scene.

      The shooting took place at a residence on the 3400 block of Torrey Road.

      There is no word on the condition of the person shot.
