Flint woman says ex-boyfriend hit her with tuna cans

A Flint woman told police that an ex-boyfriend hit her with a glass plate and two cans of tuna during an assault.

The Flint Journal says the woman had several cuts to her face following the attack Sunday. She told police he kicked in her door and also punched her repeatedly.

There were no immediate reports of charges in the case. Additional information about the case wasn't included in a police report.
